From 2001 to 2005 Chris Leone organized monthly shows that showcased up and coming talent from the Bay Area and beyond. A typical evening would include two short sets of music from the Lipsey Mountain Spring Band, two or three musical perfomers, one or two spoken word pieces, $1.50 grilled cheese sandwiches or quesadillas, and a very quiet audience. These shows would take place at the Hemlock Tavern. All for free.
